Muscle Wires Project Book and Wire Kit

The Muscle Wires Project Book is a definitive guide to Flexinol wires and contains details of 13 projects in its 128 pages. Flexinol wires are highly processed strands of a nickel-titanium alloy called Nitinol. At room temperatures, Flexinol wires are easily stretched by a small force. When heated (e.g. by a small electric current), the wire shortens with a useable amount of force. Also included is a kit, which contains a 1m length of each of 50, 100, 150 and 250µm diameter wires
