This kit is straightforward to build, but the basic craft skill of learning to solder well first is important. The only failures of kits were the pupils inability to follow sequential instructions carefully and not bothering to learn the soldering skills necessary. Time to build - from 45 mins after practice to 3 hours if detailed explanation are needed about components and colour codes, and polarity issues.
