Minty Geek Astronomers Torch

This astronomer's torch kit is a fun and educational addition to the Minty Geek range of electronic project kits. By following the supplied instructions and armed with just basic soldering skills it takes about an hour to produce, from a kit of parts, a handy and versatile astronomer's torch - ideal for reading those star charts whilst at the telescope.

The torch, when complete, gives an effective, controllable light source that can produce red or white light which is adjustable for brightness via a 5K variable resistor. Mounted on the lid are auxilliary lights that are adjustable for height simply by moving the lid up or down.
