This long range CCD barcode scanner from Manhattan has been designed to allow high-quality scanning for a wide range of applications to improve routine transactions, automate paper-based processes and increase productivity. The CCD device (charged-coupled device) contains no moving parts, which guarantees reliable operation over many years. It can handle many common barcodes such as UPC, EAN, ASCII, MSI/Plessey GS1 DataBar and many more.
The barcode scanner is easy to install, while the keyboard wedge decoder sends the scanned data to an active application where they are displayed as if it was manually entered directly from the keyboard. The power supply via the USB interface of this device does not require external power supply. With a scan rate of 100 scans per second and a scan range of 200mm, the scanner is ideal for daily use in shops, post offices, restaurants, travel and transport companies, warehouses and other commercial and industrial applications.
