<P><STRONG>Loctite 770</STRONG> is a cyanoacrylate <STRONG>primer</STRONG> for making polyolefin and other low energy surfaces <STRONG>suitable for bonding </STRONG>with Loctite cyanoacrylate adhesives. Its use is recommended for difficult to bond substrates like polyethylene, polypropylene, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and thermoplastic rubber materials.</P>
  • Can be applied by spraying, brushing or dipping at ambient temperature
  • Presence of primer can be detected by means of a UV inspection lamp (365nm)
  • If using with polyolefin and other more active or easier to bond materials, apply the primer to the polyolefin only
  • Supplied in 10ml bottles with brush applicator in the lid
  • Loctite type 770
Not recommended for use in assemblies where high peel strength is required.
