This module monitors the charge status of a 12V lead-acid car battery and recharges it automatically when the voltage falls. When the battery is full, the module shuts off the charging process and continues to monitor the battery. The module is ideal for lead-acid batteries in alarm systems, holiday cottages, caravans, campers, etc., to keep them constantly topped-up without overcharging.

Q. Hi, would this regulator slowly DISCHARGE the battery if left connected with no input? Thanks Regards Bob.
A. Hi Bob, thank you for your question. This unit is designed to shut off when the battery is charged but with no input and how this is connected we cannot be sure of how quickly if at all, this would discharge. Please see the data sheet.
