IDEC KW2D-RH100Q4E RFID reader is a standard KW series smart RFID reader with holder.

The KW2D series smart RFID reader increases security, tracking, access levels, and productivity of applications. Designed for easy integration into industrial systems, this RFID device allows OEM and end users to implement secure equipment identification, access control, and traceability.

The built-in Ethernet port facilitates quick connectivity to host devices like PLCs and HMIs using EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP. Operation status feedback is provided by a built-in LED and auxiliary buzzer.

The KW2D series supports third party RFID tags that are operated at 13.56 MHz and rated Type A, F or V standard. Although KW2D are designed to work with various RFID tag formats, the IDEC colour-coded key fob or card-style tags include enhanced encryption compared with other tag types.
