These Hammond 1591XX series multipurpose fire-resistant ABS enclosures have a flanged lid for easy wall or chassis mounting and are ideally suited for mounting printed circuit boards horizontally.

  • Internal sides of enclosure are smooth for easy connector installation
  • Strong tongue and groove lid-to-box construction provides protection against ingress of dust and splashing water
  • Designed to meet IP54
  • Lid and box both have moulded-in PC board standoffs
  • Moulded from easy to machine, flame retardant ABS plastic (UL flammability rating 94V-0)
  • Lid is secured with M3 x 10mm Phillips machine screws threaded into integral brass bushings
  • Perfect for applications with repetitive assembly and disassembly are required
