Fume Extraction Hoods and Cabinets

These fume filtration hoods are intended for use where external venting is required. The attached flexi-duct vents to atmosphere, either through a standard domestic vent or a convenient window. Filtration is carried out by a 3-stage graduated fibre filter with a high dust holding capacity that ensures a long filter life. This dual process of filtration and extraction means that operators and environments are protected from exposure to potentially hazardous substances.

The units may be used both for 3D items such as PCBs, models, etc. and 2D artwork, the units accepting standard drawing boards (A2 87-5519, A1 87-5520). A clear polycarbonate panel is mounted on the hood and hood lighting is also included. The whole unit can be assembled in seconds and may be placed on a desk, bench or trolley. Ideal for use in the workshop, dental/medical labs, design technology classroom, pharmaceutical lab, etc.
