This kit from Friedland is a wireless Passive Infra Red (PIR) home intruder alarm kit that provides security and protection at an affordable price. Included in the kit is an externally mounted siren and both a wireless PIR movement detector and a wireless magnetic door/window contact detector, the system is operated via the included keypad.

The whole kit is easy to install using a standard toolkit, with the external siren mounted outdoors and all other components mounted indoors. The system, when installed, also provides tamper protection which will activate the alarm with any unauthorized attempt to tamper with the system.

Q. Is it possible to have a remote key fob to operate the alarm?

A. Hi Dave, thank you for your question. There is no key fob available for this alarm unfortunately.

Q. Bought WHA1 and extra Standard PIR twin pack. My fitter asked me to check that these are compatible as the PIR in the WHA1 pack is different from the ones in the twin pack.

Q. Does the friedland whA1 external alarm box have strobe light Effect or flash continuously as a deterrant as I notice on the Bottom blue strip on the box there are about 8 small led's Under it?

A. Hi Allen, the Friedland whA1 has a flashing effect from the LED panel at the bottom.
