The Franzis Arduino Physical Computing Maker kit is for those times when programming on a computer or controlling LEDs is too boring for you. If you want a new challenge then this is the right kit for you, connect the real world to the digital world and take your first steps in physical computing! Use the supplied Arduino microcontroller board as the heart of your project, then capture sensor values including temperature, light and resistance and control actuators such as servo motors. With more than 20 hands-on projects, you will learn everything you need to implement your own projects, e.g. building your own robots with motors and sensors. Projects include an LED bar graph display, getting electric current from fruit and vegetables, turning your computer into a thermometer, building a mini robot arm and lots more. And if you feel nostalgic there are plenty of LEDs to flash including an RGB LED and even one that flashes on its own.

44 components are included in the box: 1 x Arduino microcontroller board, 1 x breadboard, 2 x micro servos, 1 x analogue magnetic Hall effect sensor, 1 x tilt sensor, 1 x bar magnet, 1 x piezo buzzer, 2 x photo transistors, 1 x NTC thermistor, 5 x red LEDs, 2 x yellow LEDs, 3 x green LEDs, 1 x white LED, 1 x red flashing LED, 1 x RGB LED, 1 x potentiometer, 2 x 100nF capacitors, 2 x 100µF electrolytic capacitors, 2m length of jumper wire, 1 x 12-pin header, and 1 x battery box. Plus the following resistors: 6 x 1 kOhm, 2 x 10 kOhm, 2 x 100 kOhm, 1 x 1 MOhm, and 1 x 10 MOhm.
