ForgeFix STUD12 Chemical Anchor Stud Zinc Yellow Passivated M12 x 160mm Box 10

These Forgefix Chemical Anchor Studs are made from grade 4.6 carbon steel, and are zinc yellow passivated for increased corrosion resistance. The studs are pre-cut to standard chemical anchoring lengths and supplied with nuts and washer. The hex insert allows rotation and a chisel point to break the chemical capsule. For anchoring structural steel columns and beams, for machinery hold down, installing handrails, balustrades and safety barriers and also public seating plus many more numerous applications. The Zinc Yellow Passivation process of electroplating is similar to the ‘Galvanised’ and ‘Zinc Plated’ processes but with the addition of a yellow dye. It provides a coating that is aesthetically pleasing, and which offers excellent resistance to corrosion.
