I needed a couple of 2 pole connectors to supply the 24v dc electric motors on the two bogies of one of my five inch gauge passenger carrying locomotives. Although they are 3 pole (one pole is not used) and just within the amperage for starting and accelerating with around 8 passengers these 16 amp connectors appear to do the job. They need a positive "pull" to get them apart so it is unlikely that they may disconnect involuntarily. Nev Boulton, Model Engineer Great Bulkington Railway Devizes
