Eisco GP00008 Garage Physics Soda Center of Mass Kit - The Soda Centre of Mass Kit is a fun way to explore physical concepts surrounding balance, stability, and center of mass. This kit is designed to be accessible to small children but have sufficient depth to engage high-school students. It allows students of all ages to explore and visualize center of mass in dramatic fashion by balancing a full, two litre bottle cantilevered at an angle with only indirect support.

Every object has a centre of mass, and when placed on another surface, a base of support. When an object's centre of mass is above the base of support, the object will balance, even if momentarily. If the base of support is flat, the object will balance stably. Wood is high quality precision-cut birch veneer pure bond plywood.
