The Ducati 4.16.10.08.14 2UF Leaded Plastic Case Capacitor is self healing metallised polypropylene motor run capacitor encapsulated in a leaded plastic case and is fitted with a M8 x 10mm stud for mounting. Termination is via a 250mm double insulated 2-core lead which meets IP55. It meets the requirements of flammability test to UL 94V-0. Used for motor start and motor run applications.

Useful for driving LED's

When led voltage is a small percentage of mains voltage,(say 10%), a series capacitor can be used to provide a constant current. Ancillary circuitry is necessary to protect against 'power on' transients and of course appropriate isolation and insulation are essential. Chris Booth

Perfect for output transformer isolating in valve amps! Sounds lovely in a Pultec EQ despite the fact is was not designed for this use!
