Desk/Bench Top Fume Cabinets

These fume cabinets are for use in situations where external venting is impractical but where there is a need for contaminant capture and air filtration. Especially suitable for use in dental labs, for electronic design and rework, pharmaceutical labs, design technology, science and other industrial and educational uses. Applications for which the fume cabinets are ideal include: filtration of fumes and capture of contaminant particles from monomers, adhesives, hazardous powders/particulates, conformal coatings, resins, sealants, solders, light grinding particles and dust, organic solvents, etc.

In operation the fume cabinet has two stages of filtration. The particulate (intake) filter is a 3-stage graduated fibre filter that has a high dust holding capacity, prolonging its life. The second stage of filtration is by a high grade bonded carbon filter (3.5kg 87-5513, 7kg 87-5514). The high performance of the fume cabinet is aided by a folding clear plastic fume shield that can be removed and stored if not required, reducing the footprint of the unit.
