Q. Does this product contain lead? I am concerned I may have contracted lead poisoning from stripping the plastic wire using my teeth, since someone told me that being 'tinned' actually means it contains lead. However, the datasheet contains no suggestion that lead is included.

I purchased this and i must say, it is a steal. I simply attached a broom stick to the wall and fed lots of these reels on to it. They last forever and are extremely good quality. Only down side, is when you go to solder to the ends, the heatshrink will shrink and ride back up the wire. My tip for this, dont bother stripping the wire, simply go to solder it and the heatshrink will clear the way for you.
