<P>C R Clarke's Schred is an in-house plastic recycling system.</P><P>The equipment is suitable for use with most types of plastic, in particular the commonly used ones such as HDPE and LDPE (the materials most milk bottles are made from) and HIPS (used to make vacuum forming sheets).</P><P>The process starts with shredding your used plastic using the R25 Schredder that chips plastic items into small pieces, creating a re-usable material. This material is then re-formed into 'new' plastic sheets using the R30 sheet press.</P>
  • The Schred range includes:
  • R25 Schredder - converts waste plastic into chips ready for re-use. Available in 230V mains voltage (single-phase) or 400V (3-phase ) options
  • R30 sheet press - heats and compresses the chips into a sheet
  • R30S - an optional stand for the R30 sheet press
  • R30T2 - a PTFE coated cassette mould for the R30 - produces 458 x 254mm sheets
  • R30SC - an optional cooling system for the R30S stand
  • R30M01 - a Frisbee mould for the R30 sheet press
