This Magnetic Switch Module can be combined with other modules in the BrightSparks4Kids Beginners Electricity Kitto demonstrate the effect of switches on electric current. The magnetic switch (reed switch) has a pair of contacts which operate when a magnet is passed over them. The contacts open once the magnet is pulled away.
