Q. Hi, can I paint glass jam bottles etc and have them outside in the garden with candles inside
A. Hi Julie. Thank you for your question. These are fine to paint the glass bottles with. You will however, need to apply a coat of good quality clear varnish to weatherproof the finish once the paint has thoroughly dried.
Q. Are these suitable for painting on tiles (already glazed, eg bathroom/kitchen tiles), and will they stand the heat of a teapot? Will they need to be fixed by heating in an oven?
A. Hi R Bingham, thanks for your question.
We believe they are suitable for painting on tiles. The Brian Clegg Glass Paints dry overnight at room temperature and do not require heating or baking to dry. The dry paints are not completely water resistant, although they will withstand splashing. To obtain enhanced weather resistance they can be coated with Brian Clegg’s water resistant and UV protective clear water based over varnish.
Q. Hello,
Are these paints suitablefor drinking glasses and do you need to heat the paint for it to set? Also how long will these need to dry before use?
Many thanks,
Amanda

A. Hi, thanks for your question. Yes, these paints can be used on plastic.

I had been searching online for Glass Paints & lots of different ones came up. I came across this Glass Paint at Rapid Online they were just what I had been looking for, seven different colours all in one pack, they were a bargain compared to other prices that had come up in the search, the whole pack for the same price as one bottle of glass paint on some sites. They arrived within a couple of days and my project commenced!!!! Excellent!!!!

It is so great to have some brilliant water based glass paints in my work with elderly people. The colours are great and go on evenly. Everyone enjoyed them.
