The BenchVent Air Filtration System BV300S is capable of filtering 325m³/hr of
air and is designed to be an occasional 'spray trap' for studio/workshop
cleanliness and operator protection from concentrations of airborne
contaminants.
The spray booth has two filters - a particulate (intake)
filter and a carbon impregnated fibre filter. The particulate filter is a
3-stage graduated fibre filter with a high 'dust' holding capacity. The carbon
filter assists in the reduction of solvent odours.
The unit can be
placed in two positions, either an upright position which is best for models and
other three dimensional objects or a reclining position which is best for two
dimensional artwork to be placed upon the filter. The small size of the unit
means that it can be placed upon a desk, bench or carried on a trolley and the
spray booth is ideal for use within art, graphics, hobby, modelling and craft
environments for the filtration of aerosol adhesives, aerosol lacquers and
fixatives and airbrush sprays applied to artwork of up to A2 size, solders,
light grinding particles and dusts, cleaning solvents - overall, making the
BenchVent Air Filtration System aleading player in its field at an affordable
price.

Q. Would I need to buy replacement filters and if so how often should they be replaced with moderate use and how much do they cost?
A. Hi Jeff, thank you for your question. The range of filters and spares can be found here. Frequency of change depends on the products being sprayed and the volume of use. Usually a clogged filter will discolour in some way indicating it needs to be replaced.

Benchvent BV 300S - Quality piece of kit!
Reviewed by: John Doyle - 29 October 2021
My wife purchased this for me from Rapidonline some months ago and have I used it regularly ever since. My model making, including airbrushing is literally done 'on the kitchen table' and in a small kitchen. It has proved to be very effective in virtually removing any overspray, and in removing, or reducing (in the case of lacquers) any fumes. The noise level in operation is also more than acceptable. Overall, a quality piece of kit and, in my opinion, well worth the price.
