The 302USB is a handy mixing console that is ideally suited to podcasting applications, portable recording such as reportage and small home studios. The mixer has a small footprint and has a set of carefully considered features that compete with larger, more expensive mixers. the mixing desk features a combination balanced XLR and ¼ TRS Mic In jack and also has a stereo USB/line input and a dedicated 2-track input that can be assigned to either main mix or phones. Output is via either USB or stereo Main Mix RCAs and a controllable, assignable phones out is provided.

This mixing console has a studio grade Xenyx mic preamp that gives an ultra-low noise signal that has excellent clarity and high headroom. The Mic and Line/USB channels also feature a 2-band 'British'-style EQ, giving a tone quality that is much sort after. Completing a great package is the ability to power the unit via either the included power supply or via USB, maximising the flexibility of the device - especially when use with a wireless laptop to go straight from the field to a broadcast or podcast. Additionally the mixer is supplied with free software to enable the 302USB to be used straight away.

Q. please advise what power is available for condenser mic volts and current wood this mixer suet a C1 MICK
A. Thanks for your enquiry Steve. According to the manufacturer this will be capable of producing 48 volts at the microphone connection. There is no mention of the maximum current draw though I would expect it to be less than 500 ma.
