Loudspeakers (transducers) convert electrical signals into sound waves. And
no matter how well it is designed and made, it cannot reproduce the entire audio
spectrum on its own. That is why high-quality sound systems use multiple
speakers (woofers and tweeters) to share the work. It is the crossover's
function to divide these tasks.
The CX2310 provides an independently adjustable subwoofer output, effectively
providing an extra low-frequency band, adjustable from 10Hz to 235Hz.
