Q. I need a thermistor to use at down to liquid Nitrogen temperatures (-189 degrees). What will actually happen to these if operated below -50? Are they just less accurate, or will they be damaged?
A. Hi Richard, thanks for your question. None of our thermistors are rated to operate anything close to this low temperature. The lowest temperature product we have goes to -100Deg – a thermocouple at https://www.rapidonline.com/Type-K-mineral-insulated-thermocouple-with-tail-73661 such low temperature are covered by cryogenics
