The ACS712ELCTR-20A-T is a linear current sensor that is designed for precise AC and DC current sensing in a small, easy to integrate package. Suitable for use in industrial, commercial and communication systems, this device features a low-resistance current conduction path and 2.1kV rms isolation, as well as 5.5V single supply operation and a low-noise analog signal path. The Hall circuitry provides a ratiometric voltage output that is proportional to the AC or DC currents that generate the magnetic field that is sensed by the Hall sensor. Suitable for applications such as motor control, load detection and management, switch mode power supplies and over current fault protection.
