Airgineers is a STEM Challenge for secondary school aged students.

As part of the Challenge, students design, build and learn to fly their own drone (also known as a radio controlled quadcopter) in a series of indoor challenges. The Micro Class drones are ordered as kits which students assemble themselves. This aids with understanding and helping with running repairs in the event of the drones crashing.

All the kits and parts required to build and maintain the drones in each class are available below, along with the equipment to fly them – including transmitters, receivers, batteries and chargers.

Learn even more about the world of Airgineers on our dedicated site - This is the place to register for the Challenge, watch video tutorials about building and configuring your drone, and learn about correct drone safety to make sure you enjoy flying your drones responsibly.

Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic we have made the decision to postpone the Airgineers 2020 events until further notice. We were in the process of arranging dates and venues for the events, but these will now be put on hold and confirmed at a later date. It is hoped these can take place later in the year. In the meantime we would like to thank all schools who have registered to take part and host Airgineers events.
