These air extraction units are ideally suited to use as spray booths for a wide variety of applications in the studio, classroom or workshop. There is a choice of air volume capacities to cater for application and useage and all odours and gases exrtacted are vented to atmosphere via flexi-duct so that the working environment can be kept free of contaminants. The design of the units mean that they are suitable for use with objects such as: prototypes, models, ceramic parts, PCBs, etc. Drawing boards, either A2 (87-5505) or A2 and A1 (87-5506), can be accomodated, being put in at an angle for efficient overspray capture.
Air extraction is carried out by centrifugal blowers via a three stage graduated fibre particulate filter that has a high particle holding capacity, ensuring long filter life. The filtered air is exhausted via flexi-ducts (1x for 87-5505 and 2x for 87-5506) which may be either fixed to a standard domestic vent or placed through any convenient window. This dual process of extraction and filtration greatly reduces or eliminates operator exposure to contaminants and harmful airborne substances.
