Q. DEAR SIR Will this work on large plastic siring moving parts , this siring is used as a pump so moves quite a lot other products i have used including silicone just stick the thing up. the original lube on the plunger works very well for a time but needs replacing, after a while, will your work without sticking ?
A. Hi John, thanks for your question. We have contacted the manufacturer and they state that, for typical product applications, SPG has been formulated to ensure compatibility with plastics and metals commonly used in the manufacture of electrical switches. It is particularly recommended as an assembly aid in switch manufacture (montage grease). It is also ideal to reduce wear in timers and other plastic/plastic friction points (e.g. photocopiers). Unfortunately the life expectancy of the product is not specified so we cannot offer any guarantees as to this. The data sheet can be found here.
