Q. does this work for connecting 9 pin ribbon cable to a strip board on one end and a bread board with another

A. Hi Rebekah, thanks for your question. This is unlikely. The item is just a header with 1.25mm pin spacing – most breadboards are 2.54mm spacing, so it wouldn’t fit.
