The Rapid 100W laboratory grade switch mode power supply has a large backlit blue display with white digits, providing clear and sharp readings even in poor lighting conditions. This is a single output 100W supply which acts as either a constant current or constant voltage source with automatic cross over to the other mode when preset values are reached. For example, in constant voltage mode if the load current exceeds the preset value it will switch to constant current mode and the output voltage will drop. This action will be shown on the display. It can be configured for positive, negative or floating ground to suit the application. The 4-digit display shows current, voltage, constant current and constant voltage modes. The supply features over voltage, short circuit and over temperature protection and has excellent line and load regulation, low ripple and noise. Its compact tower housing has a slim footprint which is ideal for use where bench space is at a premium.
