Q. I am the proud and happy owner of a VOLTCRAFT 1200 24V power terminal which use in my boat and I bought from CONRAD 10-15 years ago, However, I have lost the manual. I remember reading that when the input current drops below a certain level then the first warning is that the green LED becomes a red one and if the input voltage drops even further then the inverter turns itself off so that it does not drain the battery. Is this correct? and what is the input voltage that it turns itself off??many thanks
A. Hi Leonidas, thank you for your question. Please see the current manual viewable here. The manual refers that if the 24V invertor input drops below 21 +/- 0.5V an alarm will sound, and below 20V +/- 0.5V the fault LED will light in this case switch off the invertor via it's on/off switch.
