The Gert VGA 666 adaptor is a breakout/add on board that has been designed for the Raspberry Pi B+ only. It enable the use of a VGA monitor/screen with a Raspberry Pi B+, at a price point significantly lower than an HDMI to VGA adaptor or similar. The VGA connection is driven natively in hardware over the GPIO pins (using a parallel interface).
