Q. Can you tell me if these valve bases are suitable for use with 6922 / E88CC valves? I want to replace the bases in my XCan V1 headphone amplifier. Thanks Chris
A. Hi Chris. Thank you for your question. The E88CC uses a standard B9A base so either 38-2004 or 38-2006 would be suitable depending on the type of fitting required.

14 April 2012 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 38-2008
Q. Will these work on EL84 Valves, What is the width of the PCB pins? What is the height from the knuckle of the pin (where the pin starts to increase in width), to the top of the socket (where the valve plugs in)?
A. Hi Jon, thanks for your question. These are meant to work with the EL84 valves which are B9A style fitting. We make the dimension requested at approx 11.5mm, the pins are approx 1mm x0.2mm.
