The Voltcraft VC-58 2-pole voltage tester is used to display direct and alternating voltages in the range of 6 to 1000V. Direct and alternating voltages from 6V to 1000V, polarity, rotary field and continuity tests up to 2kΩ and FI/RCD tests can be performed.

The VC-58 voltage tester corresponds to the standard for two-pole voltage testers (EN 61243-3) and protection type IP65 (jet water and dust protection) and may be used outdoors or in moist conditions. The VC-58 model has an audio-visual continuity tester, backlighting, integrated LED measuring point illumination and the function of a single-pole phase tester. Two AAA batteries are required for operation. For rotary current grids, the tester is equipped with a rotary field display.

Q. Can the fixed and flexible probes both be disconnected from the meter, so that alternative 4mm leads can be connected? ...and what is the insulation material of the supplied lead, silicon, normal pvc or high flex pvc?
A. Hi Rick. Thank you for your question. These probes are not interchangeable, they are a fixed item made of PVC.
