This inductive proximity sensor has an easily mountable rectangular housing and features selectable positioning of the sensor face (five positions). There is LED indication of operation and output status and the design and features of this sensor makes it suitable for industrial applications. Some of the advantages of using an inductive sensor over other types include non-contact operation, free from any wear and tear, and with a design and construction that is insensitive to vibration, dust and moisture. Applications that these sensors are designed for include: use for input signals, detecting machine parts in automated processes, supplying the necessary signals for positioning and limits, serving as pulse pick-ups for counting tasks or for monitoring rotational speeds.
