The Faber Kabel 040967 is a Solar Cable PV1-F DB acc. to 2 Pfg 1169/08.07. The cable is perfect for movable or fixed installations in photovoltaic installations according to EN 60364-7-712. The cable may be used indoor, outdoor, in earth, in explosion hazard areas, in industry and agriculture. The cable is considered to be short-circuit and earth-fault safe. It fulfils requirements of VDE-AR-E 2283-4.

The cable has a fine stranded tinned copper conductor, with a cross-linked polyolefin, outer sheath. The cable has a voltage rating of 600V, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C.
