The A28-400-F48-G uses the high performance 9.1hp A28-400-F48 motor and is also fitted with a 8.3:1 reduction chain drive gearbox. These strong gearboxes give a huge amount of torque which is ideal for heavy duty robotics, motorised vehicles and automation applications.
The motor itself uses rare-earth neodymium magnets and with a nominal voltage of 48V produces a peak power of 9.1hp. They are fitted with a fan and are drilled with vent holes to allow flow-through cooling which allows longer duty cycles and even higher power outputs.
The motor and gearbox assembly can be mounted on a plate up to 10mm thick using the four 1/4-20 thread screws supplied.
