Adafruit 1697 Bluetooth Bluefruit Low Energy Breakout Board BLE 4.0

The Adafruit Bluefruit LE nRF8001 breakout board acts as a simple serial link between your microcontroller and a Bluetooth host device. By handling the Bluetooth communication part, this board allows you to focus on your own software and hardware. Control your project from an app on your smartphone or tablet, including reading the microcontroller analogue and digital inputs. The Bluetooth Low Energy isn't as encumbered by contracts and restrictions as Bluetooth Classic is on the iOS platform, making it much easier to write and distribute your work in the App Store. Supplied as a fully assembled board plus a 1 x 10-pin strip of 0.1in. header for you to solder on as required.
