The Adafruit Bluefruit EZ-Key 12-input Bluetooth HID Keyboard Controller helps you build a custom wireless keyboard into your next project. The controller has 12-inputs that can be attached to buttons and by default it outputs the arrow keys, 'w', 'a', 's', 'd', '1' and '2'. These keys can be re-mapped over the air and can also have mouse movements and buttons assigned. Multiple Bluefruit boards can be paired with a single device, as each one has a unique identity. More complex solutions are possible by adding a microcontroller which can send and receive Bluetooth data using the EZ-Key's Tx and Rx pins. Adafruit have produced a free tutorial to help get you started with Bluefruit. They are FCC and CE certified and RoHS compliant making them a good choice for commercial projects.
