Vigortronix 230V Toroidal Transformers Single Primary Dual Secondary

A range of high quality, open style toroidal transformers from Vigortronix that are available in various VA ratings and output voltages. Each transformer has a single primary winding that accepts 230V AC and output is via dual secondary windings. These toroidal components generally provide quieter, more efficient operation - thus reducing size and weight for similar power ratings. They have lower stray magnetic fields and, as a package, are easier to incorporate into designs.

Q. Does this item come with a mounting kit as suggested on the main product page for this manufacturere's transformers?

A. Hi Chris, thanks for your question. Yes, the mounting kit consists of a nut and washers and is supplied with the transformer.

Q. Can these transformers be mounted one on top of each other if one uses a brass bolt to hold them together, along with an insulating packing piece ??

A. Hi Mr James. Thank you for your question. These toroidal transformers could be mounted on top but they will really need some kind of insulation between them as they are only wrapped in fine insulation plastic and may be dangerous if they are damaged and arc together between the two.
