It is based on a number of quality management principles, including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. Using ISO 9001 helps companies ensure that customers receive consistent, good quality products and services, and provides external verification that the processes a company has in place enables it to operate to recognised international best practice standards.
Through a programme of internal audits Rapid achieved a score of 100% on transition to ISO 9001:2015.
