The PS-L2 is an LED floating lantern with a powerful output 300 Lumens from its white Seoul LED chip, delivering a range of 250 metres thanks to the addition of the optical Beamaster lens ®. The unit can run for 10 hours when used with a PJ996 battery (not included) and can be comfortably gripped with the contoured grip handle. For structural strength, the body of the lantern is constructed in an industrial strength copolymer, which gives it an impact resistance of up to 1m. Hi-Vis yellow colouring ensures the lantern can be seen and identified, which is vastly important in emergency situations.

Good Solid Torch, with Bright LED

Reviewed by: Mr Stephen Nickell - 12 February 2016
A well made torch, with a good bright LED light, ideal for use outdoors, or for keeping in the car. I use the Camdenboss rechargeable lead acid batteries in the torch, also available from Rapid, and the two work together well. The batteries will happily sit for six months without being charged. The torch is made of good quality plastic with a decent switch which should last years.

A well constructed bit of equipment which does what it says. Anyone messing around with boats needs one of these reliable torches.
