TinyCircuits ASD2811-R TinyShield Mini Arduino Compatible Ambient Light Shield

This TinyCircuits TinyShield ambient light sensor (ALS) uses a TAOS TSL2572 sensor that approximates the response of the human eye to light intensity under a variety of lighting conditions. TAOS' patented dual-diode technology and a UV rejection filter results in accurate ALS measurements. In addition, the operating range is extended to 60,000 lux in sunlight when the low-gain mode is used. The ALS TinyShield incorporates circuitry to allow operation over the TinyDuino operating range between 3 and 5V DC. You can also link this shield with another MCU using the 0.1in (2.54mm) pitch pads for power, ground, and the two I2C signals along the side of the TinyShield.
