This TinyCircuits Tinyshield accelerometer shield features the high performance and low power Bosch BMA250 10-bit 3-axis accelerometer. The BMA250 allows measurement of acceleration in three perpendicular axes and thus senses tilt, motion, shock, and vibration in your projects. There is also an integrated temperature sensor. Even though the BMA250 is designed to run at 1.8V DC, the TinyShield incorporates circuitry to ensure operation over the TinyDuino operating range up to 5V DC. You can also use this shield with a different MCU, there are 0.1in (2.54mm) pitch solder pads for power, ground, the two I2C signals and two accelerometer interrupt signals along the side of the TinyShield.
