This ultrasonic distance sensor is from the industry leading OsiSense XX range. The sensor has an M18 cylindrical body and a solid-state discrete output. Designed for the detection of any material, irrespective of colour, ambient light at the same distance, without the need for adjustment or correction factor.

The sensor is of the diffuse sensing type and can sense objects up to 0.5m, with a minimum object size of just 2.5mm at 0.15m. Ideal for packaging, automotive, paper industry, machine tool, assembly, food & beverage processing, water treatment etc.
