The Left Mecanum Wheel kit from Seeed Studio provides you with one driving wheel for your next robot project. The Mecanum wheels are remarkable as they give your robot unprecedented freedom of movement. With the correct arrangement of 4 x Mecanum wheels (2 x right, 2 x left) it's possible to make a robot move forwards, backwards, side-to-side and any angle in between. Mecanum wheels will even let your robot rotate on the spot. A downloadable library lets you use them without getting into the clever maths behind them unless you want to. The kit contains the wheel, a DC motor, mounting bracket and necessary hardware. Be prepared to go omni-directional.
