Blinkt! is a a board with eight super-bright RGB LEDs that are ideal for adding visual pizzazz to your Raspberry Pi.
Each of the LEDs on Blinkt! are individually controllable and dimmable, allowing you to create light gradients, pulses and strobes, or just random flashing. The board was originally developed as fully-featured status indicators and its small form factor will plug straight onto your Raspberry Pi. The data and clock lines are connected to GPIO #23 and #24 respectively but for simplicity you can just use the Python library to drive them.
To get you up and running quick sticks access the Blinkt! Python library. There are also a rainbow of examples too, from binary clocks to cheerlights and flickering candles to Larson scanners!
