This Pi Supply Power Switch is a brilliant way of managing your Raspberry Pi power. The "intelligent", ATX-style switch lets you leave your power wires permanently connected, with just the push of a button switch to turn the power on or off.
When you want to turn off your Pi, just use the button for the pseudo-halt command. A short while later, after a full and safe shutdown, the Pi Supply Switch cuts the power to the device. All you need do to restore power is to press the on button. A hard power off button is provided for use in emergencies only (such as a total freeze). The great feature of the Pi Supply Switch is the provision of a pseudo-reboot command that allows you to restart your Pi without the power turning itself off.
