A kit of parts for you to build an audible locator beacon.
The 4017 is a 5-stage Johnson counter that has 10 outputs which turn on one after another. The IC is a commonly used 4000 series part and can be used in many scenarios including finite state machines, simple counters, and even time division.
With this kit you can build a 4017-based beacon that can be used for locating fallen radio-controlled drones or planes, or just for soldering practice!
