This Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) is a CMOS, 18-bit, serial output, integrating device that features a multi-slope integration that enables operation up to 100 conversions per second and higher resolution conversions in less time than standard integrating ADCs. Communication is via a 4-wire serial interface that easily connects to all common microprocessors.
Four serially programmed digital outputs can be used to control an external multiplexer or programmable-gain amplifier. High resolution, compact size and low power mean these devices are ideal for use in transducers, data loggers, weighing scales, data acquisition systems and panel meters, battery-powered instruments and industrial process control.
